Lepraria membranacea


Leprose, placodioid, saxicolous on siliceous rocks, bryophytes and acid bark. Very sciaphylous, in cracks.
Note: medulla distinct, white. Thallus K– or K+ yellow, C–, KC–, P– or P+ orange, UV+ purple-blue. Very rare in Almería. It has only  been quoted before in Sierra Nevada (Ximona & Casares 1982 in Collectanea Botanica 13(1):295-312), therefore, it is new for Filabres.
