Crustose epiphytic and saxicolous, on diferents rocks and phorophytes. Widespread.
Note: negative tests, variable thallus form, pale gray to dark gray (highly hidrated in the image); brown spores, straight or lightly curved, 10-16 x 6-7 micras:
