Caloplaca limonia




Crustose saxicolous, on calcareous rocks. It was found among conglomerate boulders, near the beach, in a protected situation at the base of the outcrop
Note: it grows under shaded conditions. Thallus forming a continuous aerolate crust, dull to yelow, often white-pruinose. Areoles covered by blastidia or laminal soralia.

Apothecia frequent.

Spores 13-16 x 6,5-9 micra:

Lithology: calcarenite, conglomerate
Altitude: 180 and 7 m
